Description of contents and uses.
This soprano recorder method book was developed through 20 years of teaching the instrument to
elementary children and college students. It is the result of working with elementary education majors
without prior musical instruction, and it used throughout the country in music courses for these students. It
has also been widely used in elementary classrooms where recorder is introduced. Piano and Orff
accompaniments are provided for many of the materials.
