p_greenee.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, Edith Elizabeth "Evie" Greene was an English actress and singer born in Portsmouth, England. She played in Edwardian musical comedies in London and on Broadway and starred as Dolores in the international hit musical Florodora. (1889).
Early in her career, Greene starred in pantomime in the provinces before appearing in the major London and Broadway theatres.
She died in Southsea, Hampshire.
