It is surprising that so little is known about this performer considering the large number of recordings located. All that can presently (October 2025) be gleaned about Irma Frost by Internet searching is that she was an American country musician (soprano, organist) who has made at least 22 recordings between 1924 and 1928 on the Victor label.
She was the twin sister of Bolen Frost (banjo, guitar) and sister of Hattie Stoneman (nee Frost). They were all members of Ernest V. Stoneman & His Dixie Mountaineers.
