p_cavendishm.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, Millie Cavendish was a British singer and actress.
She is best remembered for singing You Naughty, Naughty Men (1866 - words: Theodore Kennick; music: George Bicknell), the show's highlight, in the role of Carline in the musical The Black Crook in Niblo's Garden, New York.
Cavendish had played previously for 15 years in British music halls under the name Mrs. Lawrence.
She died in New York following a cranial injury suffered during an epileptic fit. Superstitious actors blamed her early death for rehearsing the play on a Sunday.
