p_blanchem.jpgAccording to various Internet sources, Marie Blanche [Marie Peacock] was a musical comedy actress born in Scarborough, Yorkshire.
Born into a theatrical family (father: William Peacock,actor, theatre owner of The Grand Opera Houses: in Harrogate and York; mother: Winifred Peacock née Adams whose father, Sam Adams - one time manager of the Trocadero music hall, London), she began acting as a child from the early 1900's.
She performed in drama and comedy films. Together with her mother she managed "The White Rose Players", repertory company, based at The Grand Opera House, Harrogate from 1932 to 1950.
