p_bannermanm.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, Margaret Bannerman [nee Marguerite Grand] was a Canadian actress born in Toronto, Ontario.
On moving to England in 1914, her career began in English theatre in 1915 in Charlotte's Revue starring Gertrude Lawrence. She also appeared on stage, in revues and light comedy and is known for her work in English silent films. 1928 was spent touring Australia after which she returned to London before moving to the United States. There she appeared in films until 1947 and continued in theatre until 1963 before retiring to in Englewood, New Jersey. Where she died.
