I remember "We'll meet again" as a very sentimental
Vera Lynn Second World War song and was still sung when I was in the Royal Navy in the 1950's and 1960's. I am sure it was sung to us in the hangar of H.M.S. Victorious very kindly by Anne Shelton, another WW II sweetheart of the forces, on the occasion of her visit to us sometime around January 1967 in Hong Kong. The version that I now sing can be found in
101 Pub Favourites for Buskers where the words and musc are credited to
Ross Parker and Charlie Hughes.
