For me "Stewball" is a pretty unique Irish song in that I first came across it in a popular German song book namely Lieder, Songs und Gospels 2 and not from Brian Kelly et al. It's all about a paragon of a racehorse named Stewball whose character and equestrian capabilities are sung to high heavens. And for a horse, he was very Irish in that he always drank wine instead of water.
