Just One Spark
Last updated: 11.10.23
"Just One Spark" was written in July 2001 by Benny Graham commemorating and dedicated to all those who died in the 1835 Wallsend mine explosion as well as those who died similarly in the Ukraine in 2001.
It reflects bitterly that Life comes cheap in the face of greed and that Life or death the die is cast by just one spark. This song may be found in the Tyneside Maritime Chorus songbook
