If I fell
Last updated: 11.10.23
If I fell is somewhat more mature and has more to do with real life as a love song when compared with Hello little girl. I can remember it being crooned by all and sundry in the bars of Sembawang near the Singapore Navy Base in 1966/1967.
In this song, the singer is not quite the twerp as heard in Hello Little Girl and tries to make to make a deal with his new love before abandoning an old.
For me, this song has a lovely melody and the lyrics are super cool. The version that I sing and play can be found in Beatles Songs for the Recorder.
