Home in Pasadena
Last updated: 11.10.23
The Pasadena Roof Orchestra and the song Home in Pasadena are for me two terms which are inseparable. I always loved the song right from when I first heard it long ways back - late '60's or early '70's - never dreaming that one day I would sing it myself. But lo and behold it is now in the repertoire of Dr. Rosteck & Mr. Grainger. much to my great personal satisfaction. The song itself (music: Harry Warren, words: Clarke and Leslie) expresses an excessively nostalgic longing of wanting to settle down in one's home town in, and the singer is not very picky, "someone's arms".
