And I love her
Last updated: 11.10.23
And I love her is a gentle, delicate love song, and like most Beatles songs, basic and simple. Grammatically speaking, this is an interesting song because in its just two short verses we have the first, second, third persons singular as well as the first person plural thrown in for good measure. An ideal song as a translation exercise!
Joking apart, it is a lovely song that I much enjoy singing. The version that I play can be found in Beatles Songs for the Recorder, my most used Beatles source.
