Along with Carl Dolmetsch with his "School Recorder Book Vol. 3", Hans-Martin Linde was a daily companion, in the form of Die Kleine Übung, in the loneliness of the DTP-Office on HMS Victorious or in the quiet Petty Officer's Mess Annex on HMS Lofoten in the years between 1964-1967 as I did my daily practice. His tutor was/is excellent. As I have mentioned elsewhere, it was great pity that I was unsupervised at that time. Grief and agony came later!
In 1982/1983 I heard him on NDR together with the guitarist, Conrad Ragossnig, playing a "Sonata in C-major for recorder and guitar" by Nicola Matteis and a "Sonata in A-minor for recorder and guitar" by Francesco Mancini.
Clas Pehrsson" is among those fortunates to have studied with him in the flesh.
