According to the Internet source given below, Ann-Charlotte Larsson was brought up in Västerås. She studied at the Malmö Academy of Music both teaching and performing recorder. She joined Flauto Dolce Recorder Quintet in 1987. She continued her studies with Gunno Klingfors and Karin Jonsson-Hazell as well as with Marion Verbruggen.
