rpkemp.gifAs gleaned from the website given below Jill Kemp was awarded a grant in 1999 from the John Barbirolli Memorial Foundation and was later also awarded a scholoarship to study at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Jill has also studied with Michala Petri and Piers Adams.
Her repertoire extends from the 1400s to the present day, and includes many of her own arrangements. She has performed throughout Britain amd France. Her performance of L'Oiseau du Bois by Charles le Thière which she also arranged can be heard on DAM-CD: Recorder Music for UNICEF.
I had the very great and personal pleasure as a member of the Bremen Recorder Touring Company in sharing a programme with her during a recorder recital at St Matthew's Church, Rastrick on 10th October 2001.
