As gleaned from the Internet, Walter van Hauwe is/has been involved with:
- Sour Cream, 1971, a recorder trio with Frans Brüggen and Kees Boeke, for ancient and contemporary works.
- Little Consort, 1979, with Lucia Meeuwsen (mezzo-soprano), Toyohiko Satoh (lute), and Kees Boeke (viola da gamba) for music of the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries.
- Quadro Hotteterre, 1985 together with Kees Boeke (recorder), Wouter Moeller (violoncello), and Bob van Asperen (harpsichord) for 17th - 18th century chamber music.
Since 1984 he has also played with the Japanese marimba virtuoso Keiko Abe, concentrating on improvisation in diverse styles. Walter van Hauwe has given concerts in Europe, the USSR, the USA, Mexico, Japan and Australia and also gives master classes at the Sweelinck Conservatory, Amsterdam.
