Sissi Gerlach is a German recorder player. She initially studied music at the "Berufsfachschule für Musik", Altötting and then recorder and piano at the "Leopold- Mozart-Konservatorium", Augsburg under Susanne Seitz and Sabine Lutzenberger. She also took master classes with Han Tol, Gabriel Garrido, Dan Laurin and Laura dalla Libera. A member of Chalilio, she is also a member of the "La Cavaletta" und "TrioTrattato" ensembles both of are dedicated to "Alter Musik". She currently (2004) teaches at Augsburg University and also give music lessons in the Augsburg area.
Jean Chatillon dedicated his compositions Nouveaux Duos Folkloriques (1971-1977) to Sissi Gerlach.
