According to the Internet source given below, Susanne Fröhlich was born in Passau, Germany, and studied recorder with Paul Paul Leenhouts at the Amsterdam Conservatory obtaining an artistic-pedagogical diploma and, subsequently, a Masters Diploma with distinction in 2004. She then went on to study with Gerd Lünenbürger at the University of the Arts Berlin, receiving a concert exam diploma with distinction in June 2008.
She gives recitals and teaches workshops in Europe and overseas. A former founding member of the recorder quartet Quartet New Generation , Susanne Fröhlich appears as a soloist various groups such as Ensemble U3, Ensemble adapter to name but a few.
