Wenrich respectfully dedicated Fun-Bob to fellow composer and rag writer Neil Moret-Daniels. Its form is, fitting for the Joplin Kid, almost "classic" i.e. AABBCCDD with an 4-bar introduction and a 4-bar interlude between the BB- and CC strains whereby the AABB- and CCDD- strains are in the major keys of G and C respectively. A real fun piece: each melody fairly bubbles with joy quite in accordance with the happy smiling infant shown on the cover of the original sheet music.
Fun-Bob was published by Arnett-Delonais Co., Chicago, Illinois, USA.
A tempo of 80 crotchets/min. is suggested.
