Moon Kisses is a very pleasant, simple maybe even elegant composition in ABACA form well within the grasp of the beginner. This recorder adaptation for tenors and basses is of course quite sonorous and easy on the ear being somewhat dream-like in keeping the cover of the original sheet music. It would make a good contrast in a programme with more lively pieces. A tempo of 120 crotchets/min. is suggested.
Moon Kisses was published by McKinley Music Co., Chicago & New York, USA.

This recorder adaptation is respectfully dedicated to Judy Turner, recorder player and teacher of Cape Town, South Africa.
There is also a tenor solo version of this item.
