I first played this arrangement with the Newcastle SRP in April, 2011 and here my recorder and folk music worlds crossed. As described in Blow the Wind Southerly, I knew the tune very well and then in Newcastle it seemed very apt for the said song is in the Tyneside Maritime Chorus repertoire.
