I was introduced to this interesting contemporary work by Petra Meyer in early 2002. It comprises six items starting off with a blues and continuing with a very brief spiritual ("By and by"), a jolly "Boogie Woogie", a further blues, the well known spiritual Swing low, sweet chariot and concluded by a demanding "Swinging Rag".
Such works make, for my taste, welcome interludes away from the more staid "traditional" recorder music.
