Top Liner was one Lamb's final rags to be published at the end of the ragtime era. This is another classic ragtime composition which lends itself splendidly to adaptation for the recorder. It is an easy-flowing piece, a joy to listen to, but certainly not the easiest for recorder players to perform with much melodic overflow through three voices and close harmony sections between the 2nd and 3rd voices. Great stuff!
