"Greensleeves to a Ground" is amongst the first purchases that I made whilst still a young Petty Officer on H.M.S. Victorious in April 1965. I practised this piece of interesting music, which has twelve divisions on the tune of Greensleeves", literally hundreds of times but have never performed it in public.
I also have in my possession and extended play record, "Play it yourself No. 4" (HMV 7EG 8858) which has this piece on it. This record series allows you to listen to the master, in this case Carl Dolmetsch himself, and then play it yourself accompanied by an international accompanist and in this case none less than Joseph Saxeby.
I think this piece can safely be classified as being of medium difficulty.
The MIDI of this piece was sequenced by none other than Makoto Tahira, better known as Makoyan.
