Purchasing information Notice for leaders/bass players
Length: approx. 3 mins. Sounds best with 1st tenor doubled.
Blue Ribbon Rag, is a jolly piece fairly dashing along. Some recorder players may have difficulties with the two keys used, namely Ab-major and Db-major but those loving the lower registers will find their tastes met in full store. It may be performed to great effect with just tenor and bass recorders.
Blue Ribbon Rag was published by J.H. Aufderheide & Co., Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
A tempo of 90 crotchets/min. is suggested.
