From Soup to Nuts is a light-hearted imaginative piece with many fine touches. It the title on the front cover of the original sheet music, the word "two" is replaced with a dance pair. The centre piece is formed by a 9-course menu, itself wittingly entitled Me 'n U! The courses are:

  • Potage: Cécile a la McKee
  • Poisson: Sûr le flot a la Berger
  • Entrée: Idealle a la Crescenzo
  • Sorbet: Congatulations a la Europe
  • Roti: Dindonnade a la Crescenzo
  • Salade: Chinchilita a la Hartz
  • Dessert: Delicioso a la Dixon
  • Cafe: La Brulante a la Winne
The items on the menu are obviously all insider jokes the meanings of which long lost in ragtime history. A gourmet piece for delicate tastes!
