Last updated: 01.02.24
All that can be surmised about Floyd Willis is taken from the covers of his known published works. He was the composer of a handful of rags between 1907 and 1911 seeming to have Cincinnati connections. He is best known for his The Queen Rag (1911) which celebrates the steamer "Island Queen" that plied the Ohio waters at Cincinnati as a pleasure boat.
