Giovani Maria Trabaci  (1575-1647)

According to notes given in Four Galliards (Z. f. S. 473), Giovanni Maria Trabaci was born at Montepoloso and died in Naples on the 31st December 1647. Trabaci produced two volumes of instrumental works dated 1603 and 1615. These volumes are still in existence in the musical Library Bologna. He was considered a master part writer of sacred and secular music; he was also the organist at the Cappella di Palazzo in Naples.
