Giuseppe Torelli  (1658-1709)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Giuseppe Torelli was an Italian violinist and composer who worked largely in Bologna; was one of the pioneer practitioners of the Concert Grosso, and also wrote other music for stringed instruments.
Torelli has a Prelude copied in Manuscript Music Book.
