Claude de Sermisy  (1490-1562)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Claude (or Claudin) de Sermisy was a French composer (and priest); wrote more than 200 chansons, also Masses, motets, etc. As a singer of the French royal chapel he attended François I at his meeting with Henry VIII at the Field of the Cloth of Gold, 1520.
