According to the Internet source given below, E.T. (Edward Taylor) Paull was an American composer and publisher of popular music. The son of a Virginian farmer, he managed a music store, sold pianos and organs in Martinsburg, Virginia sometime about 1878. His first successful march was The Chariot Race (1894). From this point on he set up his own publishing company and continued to publish and compose until his death. His company continued to operate however for a further two years. He is best known today for his marches and the unrivalled, very colourful and artistic covers of his sheet music.
