According to the Internet sources given below, Karl Marx was a German composer. He studied natural sciences and met Carl Orff with whom he later studied. In Munich he became a professor at the Munich Academy in 1924 and in 1929 became conductor of the Bach Society. Karl Marx taught at the Graz conservatory in 1939-1945 becoming professor in 1944. In 1946 was professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart and was much occupied with school music.
