Francesco Landini  (c.1325-1397)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Francesco Landini [or Landino] was an Italian organist, lutenist and composer (also poet); blind from early childhood. Wrote concerted vocal music of various kinds, and was an exponent of Ars Nova. Born, lived and died in Florence.
