Johann Adolf Hasse  (1699-1783)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Johann Adolf Hasse was a German composer, also tenor singer; pupil of Porpora and Alessandro Scarlatti in Italy. Wrote dozens of Italian operas; also church music, harpsichord works, etc. Director of the Dresden Court Opera; afterwards lived mainly in Vienna and in Venice where he died.
Johann Adolf Hasse also has a Bourée published in Tänze und Stücke alter Meister.
