According to the Internet source given below, James Harding [Jeames Harden] was an English composer. He hastwo keyboard fantasias, possibly arrangements, in a British Museum MS; a setting by William Byrd of a 'Gagliarda' in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book and Galiard by 'Mr. James' in Berlin, Staatsbiblioteket.
James Harding has an "Almande" published in Suite From the Royal Wind Music of King James I.
