He was Chapel Master of Oviedo Catedral until 1585. Some sources maintain that he then went to Calahorra, Avila, and finally to Ciudad Rodrigo; others established that he was in Salamanca in 1608. The third book contains eight vespers including the Song of Simeon, a Nunc dimitis for 4 voices, twenty-nine hymns for 4 voices, sixteen Magnificat (mostly written for 4 voices), the four marian antiphons, five other pieces including a motet, seven masses (4 and 5 voices) and an Officium Defunctorum.
