El Cota

El Cota was an American xylophone player who hailed from California. According to a period flyer, he was billed as "The World's Greatest Xylophone Player". His repertoire included light classics as well as popular music and performed both in vaudeville and in concert halls. His only known composition is Cherry Leaf Rag (1909) which was published by Victor Kremer Co., Chicago & New York.
