Francis Chagrin  (1905-1972)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Francis Chagrin [real name Alexander Paucker] was a Romanian-born composer and conductor resident in England; founder in 1943 of the Committee (now Society) for the Promotion of New Music, London. Works include piano concerto, piano solos, much film music.
