Bob Alden  (-1932)

Bob Alden was briefly reported in The Talking Machine News, London, May 1912, p.279a as to having been an American comedian as one of The Two Bobs, the other Bob being Bob Adams (-1948). The article describes them as popular American ragtime duettists (sic(and describes a ragtime double record which they made with Columbia-Rena. Titles mentioned include Alexander's Ragtime Band, Casey Jones, Chanticleer Rag, That Mysterious Rag and Everybody's Doin' It. Of ragtime interest is his rag and buck dance, The American Dancers (1908).
