John Carver Aalden is at present time (2012) an obscure ragtime era composer known only for a baker's dozen of piano works published between 1893 and 1912 and which are listed by various online retailers. He appears to have had Boston connections his chief publishers being Oliver Ditson Company and B. F. Wood Music Co.. Of ragtime interest is his characteristic dance Chit-Chat (1912).
