Personal remarks
I picked this item up in an Auckland, New Zealand music shop whilst on holiday there in 1994. As its title suggests it is indeed comprised of the most popular Australian songs ("But is it folk music?", I hear someone muttering in the cheaper seats). It is well produced having clear texts, written for piano and produced with chords. It is notable for both Waltzing Matilda versions, one of my most favourite imbecile songs to whit Duncan and somewhat less notably for its sanitised version of Tie me Kangaroo Down, Sport. Well recommended!
