My Remarks
I bought this songbook whilst on holiday in England in 2000 for a princely £3.99 which is a bargain when considering the number of songs included. Amongst may be found standard universal sea songs such as The Holy Ground, Paddy Doyle's Boots and The Banks of Newfoundland claimed as Irish (why not?). For my taste, its value lies in the number of little known songs especially those of true Gaelic origin. My only quibble is the low quality printing, perhaps it is just my copy.
